Problem: Roads in Sri Lanka are always congested with heavy traffic. This results in heavy noise pollution on the roads. Although laws are in place most don't abide by them and the noise is a constant on Sri Lankan roads.

Idea: The noise cleaner bus - a vehicle that absorbs noise as it travels on the road.

Mechanism: Duco, the automotive paint category of dulux to introduce an automotive paint that is able to absorb sound. The more square foot that has been painted will a higher absorption of sound. Duco will paint a bus with this acoustic sound-proof paint; this bus will then travel around the city and by doing so will absorb the sound. The success of this initiative will in future lead to more vehicles being painted with this sound absorbing paint  which in turn will help to reduce the sound pollution on busy Sri Lankan roads.
